About the Lecturer:

Li Yongjian is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor, and department head of the Business School of Nankai University. Winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, Chief Expert of Major Project of National Social Science Fund, Winner of China Youth Science and Technology Award. His main research fields include logistics and supply chain management, operation management under platform economy, etc. He has published more than 100 papers and 3 academic monographs in well-known domestic and foreign management academic journals. He is currently the executive director of the Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering, the executive director of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, and the deputy director of the Supply Chain and Operations Management Branch of the Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering; the deputy editor of “Modern Supply Chain Research and Applications”, “Nankai Business Review International“, editorial board members of Systems Engineering Theory and Practice, Operations Research and Management, and Journal of Management Engineering.

About the Lecture:

After nearly 30-40 years of development, the application and research of supply chain management have shown new features and new problems driven by the new environment and the pull of new demands. This report first reviews the basic knowledge and research challenges of supply chain management, and then talks about the views and understanding of research and innovation related to supply chain management in combination with new problems and new methods. Finally,the paper takes supply chain mode selection as an example and gives a detailed explanation in combination with the relevant research of our team.
